DiabetesType 1

Episode #44 – Mary Anderson

In today’s episode of the Just My Type podcast, co-hosts Sami (type 1) and Dobie (type 2) welcome ‘Mary Anderson’, a third-grade teacher and diabetes advocate located in the Virginia area. In this episode, Mary sheds some light on her diagnosis story and how she manages a classroom full of 8 and 9 year old children. I mean come on she already has to babysit her blood sugars and now children too? I guess it is one way to educate the young community on diabetes. Tune in to hear more about Mary’s story and how she navigates dealing with this disease efficiently and successfully. C’est la vie, baby!
